Mildred A. Eley Mono Lake Music and Ecology Camp Scholarship The Swift Fund for the Arts offered two partial ($300) scholarships to this unique program in 2007, in the name of Mildred A. Eley. This award combines and represent Ms. Eley's interests in music and the environment. Richard G Swift Memorial 2007 Scholarship Open to all students of Delphos Jefferson High School in Ohio, and are graduating from high school in 2007, for excellence in music performance. A selection panel convened to evaluate the submittals. The Board then awarded the inaugural RGS Memorial Scholarship to: Allison King of Delphos, Ohio. Allison receives recognition to her dedication to music and education, and a check for $500. Congratulations Allison!
Charles W. Brockhoff Memorial Scholarship More information available in Spring 2007. The Swift Fund for the Arts has two targeted grant programs this year. Note: this scholarship program is presently on hold because the Swift Fund for the Arts have been denied access to and isolated from Mr. Brockhoff's widow. Until this condition is resolved, the Swift Fund cannot proceed with the scholarship. Richard G. Swift Performance Grant This grant is designed to cultivate high quality musical performance. This grant is specifically for ensemble(s) performing one or more works composed by Richard G. Swift. Ensembles are invited to submit preliminary information, including C.V., previous performance experience,references and proposed program for the performance. The Swift Fund for the Arts will provide musical scores for performance along with monetary support for the awarded concerts. There is no geographical limitation to recipients.
